Over 1700 Skate Sharpening Coupons Given Out!

Over the last 12 years the Calgary Flames Sports Bank has had some amazing partners, groups and business that we have been fortunate to collaborate with. One of those partners has been Overtime Hockey Lanes.

During the last 4 years, Overtime Hockey Lanes has given the opportunity for families coming into the Calgary Flames Sports Bank and receiving a pair of Ice skates, weather that be for hockey, ringette, figure skating, or just ice skating in general, a free skate sharpening coupon to be used at their store.

Recently, the Calgary Flames Sports Bank gave out its 1700th skate sharpening coupon to a deserving family to get their skates sharpened.

This is simply an amazing accomplishment and an incredible donation of not only the coupons for the families, but the time it takes to get all those skates sharpened over these last 4 years.

We here at the Calgary Flames Sports Bank would like to thank Randall Krawec, and his entire team at Overtime Hockey Lanes for their continued support of the Calgary Flames Sports Bank and all the families we assist throughout Calgary and Southern Alberta.

If you need your skates sharpened or want to have a fun activity for your kids, or team please go check out Overtime Hockey Lanes as they have so many wonderful activities for kids and adults. Please click the link below to check out their website for all the details and hours of operation.
